On Tuesday, May 14th, Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School recognized the work of twenty-two students with membership into the CH-CH chapter of the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

“The National Honor Society creates enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulates a desire to render service, promotes leadership, and develops character in students.” remarked Head of School, Lance Conrad, Ed.D., “I am pleased to report that this has been, and will continue to be, the guiding light of our selection process into the CH-CH chapter of the National Honor Society.”

Current NHS Student President, Nick D. '24, echoed these sentiments in his address to the new inductees, "Your dedication, academic prowess, and commitment to service have not only earned you a place in this prestigious society but also the admiration of your peers and mentors.”

Current NHS Vice President, Rachel P. ‘24, also expressed her excitement for the new members, "I'm thrilled to welcome these outstanding students into NHS and eager to witness their future successes in the coming years."

Welcome, and congratulations to all the new inductees of the CH-CH chapter of the National Honor Society. We are proud to celebrate your achievements and look forward to your continued contributions to our community.
