Crafting Community and Chemistry: Tim Seston's Return to CH-CH

In many ways, Tim Seston can claim to have been on campus longer than most current faculty and staff. “I remember this building when it was the Head of School’s house,” he muses when we connect in East Hall, harking back to the era when Tim first taught on campus from 2000 to 2005. Although Tim’s path meandered over the ensuing two decades - raising his children, founding a children’s music company, coaching and teaching at other local independent schools -  it feels almost inevitable that he came full circle back to the beginning.

Q&A with Head of CH-CH Middle School, Kelly Walsh

The CH-CH Middle School is currently enrolling students and will open its doors for 8th-grade students in the fall of 2023 and then for both 7th and 8th-grade students in the fall of 2024. Leading the charge for this new addition as the Head of Middle School is Kelly Walsh. Kelly has held the role of Director of 9/10th grade programs at CH-CH for the past six years and is passionate about creating a program that will unlock the potential of middle school students. The Chronicle Magazine (CM) sat down to talk with Kelly (KW) about her background and plans for CH-CH Middle School and the impact it will have on the community as a whole.
